AC / DC power adapter / cable stopped working after about 2 weeks. I first tried the Internet service to customers the RMA request unanswered. Then I called customer service. I just spent over an hour on the phone trying to get my power cord replaced. They have so many requests for Powercords are back ordered. I was told that it could be a month before he would be able to send another vessel. Are now poised to return 1005HA on Amazon, because I do not want to wait a month for my computer running. I did a search netbook to death before I bought my NB205. I am very happy. It just breathes quality. It has no problem to play videos from YouTube or any other standard definition video you'll find anywhere. Many have rightly complained about the low volume of the device. Toshiba has released a new Realtek audio driver on their support site, which does not increase the volume a bit '.

Received my netbook, the battery during the night, fueled the morning after: NOTHING! Black screen! Called the desk powerless, suspended for 10 minutes then transferred to IVR because I sent the wrong queue - held for another 20 minutes - no other solution but to send back.

Will never buy another ASUS product again. Just to CNET Reviews!

I have my Asus netbook one months ago to save my Macbook for heavy elements such as Photoshop Elements. I was relegated to light duty as my partner to Starbucks.

It 'a good value, but can not as a backup for my 13-inch, full-size keyboard Macbook. The difference in distance between the keys that makes the difference. There is also a quirkiness about it that makes my movements, how to change pages or e-mail in advance before I did. However, it will Hold Steady page NY Times online when I'm reading Starbucks or check my e-mail.

Taking the time to review laptops is time well spent especially when wanting to have the best working laptop for all your specific needs.

When reviewing consider these things;

1. Screen - What are you looking for in the Screen., is it resolution, size, definition.

2. Portability - Are you carrying it around a campus or is it mainly home and hotel?

3. Speed - Laptops are generally 20-30% slower that Stationary Computer with the same features. If speed is a necessity be sure to check out details such as; CPUs, motherboards, hard drives, and video systems. These all contribute to the speed loss.
