I have my Asus netbook one months ago to save my Macbook for heavy elements such as Photoshop Elements. I was relegated to light duty as my partner to Starbucks.
It 'a good value, but can not as a backup for my 13-inch, full-size keyboard Macbook. The difference in distance between the keys that makes the difference. There is also a quirkiness about it that makes my movements, how to change pages or e-mail in advance before I did. However, it will Hold Steady page NY Times online when I'm reading Starbucks or check my e-mail.
My wife prefers the stability of the Mac for the trip - since they have to do "exact time and waiting" on eBay, where seconds count between winning or losng on a snipe. Heck, I paid $ 4500 for a Mac PowerBook, when they leave. At $ 350, the Asus is a damn good buy and worth … but do not expect a "less expensive ordinary laptop.
My daughter got an Asus 7 "Netbook for the first time it came out. When I asked what she thought of me, not because she spent much time on his iPhone to do what they use to make his computer.
