Say ‘Toshiba‘ and impressions of a reliable and durable laptop PC would come to mind. Although the Toshiba made one of the latest entries to the netbook market, the Toshiba Mini has taken the PC world by storm. In just a couple of months, it has climbed the charts to become one of the best netbooks in the market, only rivaled by the Asus 1005HA netbook.
The Toshiba mini netbooks have a distinctive factor in almost every aspect. In terms of design for instance, it sports a textured, matte surface unlike any other brands. Its external casing is extremely stylish and is very resistant to smudges. It comes in a variety of colors, namely black, white, blue, pink, and even the very rare brown. It has a tile-like keyboard, very much like those on Apple computers. They keys on the Toshiba Mini are raised higher than those on the Asus netbook, giving a nice cushy feel to it. It feels really good to type on.
Specs wise, the Toshiba Mini netbook is powered by an Intel Atom N280 processor. It also comes with a 160GB hard drive and 1GB of RAM. It also has some very cool features, such as the ability to charge USB gadgets when it is on standby mode or when it is off. Its amazing 9 hours of battery life is also very impressive. Its Energy Star certified, energy-efficient system, makes this possible. Due to its combination of a stylish design, good performance and an amazing battery life, the Toshiba mini have received many ‘Editor’s Choice’ award from many of the most respected tech publications. It is definitely a must-have for anyone who is looking to get a new netbook!

One of the reasons it was heavy is that is was jam packed with more crapware than the local landfill. I could not remove all the crapware so I gave the laptop away.
